Working Moms Vs Stay at Home Moms - Supply Vs Demand

In the old days, that was a raging debate because in the old days, dad was bringing home enough bacon to fry up in that pan of theirs and mom stayed home to raise the kids.

That was this...This is now.

With the average household income hovering at about forty three thousand dollars, and the cost of living screaming ahead with reckless abandon, many, many thousands of moms in every state have had to go back to work to support the family.

Even with affordable day care alternatives, moms still must pull out of the carport right along side dad and wave to the kids from the car as they pull away to earn money.

But a growing number of moms have very intelligently been searching for and finding work at home opportunities. In fact, the internet is now getting more crowded with "work at home moms" seeking their rightful place among the ones and zeros in cyberspace.

And many of those moms are discovering what hundreds of thousands of others have already learned and that is that there is money to be made online.

What a wonderful possibility...Bringing in income and being home with the children to raise them.

As a father of four with a wife who works, I say fantastic. I hope to see this trend grow by leaps and bounds. Children, in my opinion need to be as close to their parents as possible especially during the early years. (Again, that's an opinion...But it is shared by many.)

so having found my way to be able to quit my job and stay at home, I offer several programs that are working very well for me to those right now who are asking themselves the old 'working moms vs stay at home m0ms' question.

Earn Home Money With Web Based Home Work

It is becoming increasingly more popular to earn home money by performing web based home work.  The internet now allows us more freedom to spread our wings to horizons that we could only dream of before.

For starters, if you own or have access to a reliable computer, adequate funding, and a burning desire coupled with substantial knowledge of your business venture, you are in the game.  Being in the game, however, does not guarantee that you will be a star player.  Like in sports, you must usually work long and efficient hours in order to reach your hopefully high goals.  The higher your reasonable goals, the more likely it is that you will be successful.

Discipline is very important when working at home.  The familiar household distractions, the family, the tv, stereo, pets, etc. must be controlled so that you are able to dedicate serious time to your many tasks.  It is often necessary to advance your office further than the kitchen table in order to gain the privacy needed to work.  If you have a family business, the other members of the family must be taught the importance of sticking to the agenda to enable your business goals to be reached efficiently.   Be prepared to work odd hours in order to meet important deadlines.

Depending on your type of business and your financial status, the monetary demands of your business must be considered in early planning.  Establish a yearly budget that will include your projected income and expenses.  This way you will have a good idea of how to price your item(s) and to be both competitive and profitable.

The benefits and pride that come when you earn home money from your web based home work efforts can be unbeatable given proper preparation and discipline.

Why Moms at Home Work Harder Than Anyone - Anywhere

I'll say one thing from experience, moms at home work work harder than I ever did at any NYC office. That much is for certain.

In addition to the daunting task of raising their children, keeping up with the house is an almost impossible undertaking. And by virtue of the fact that there are children in the mix, that housework grows exponentially bad every new day.

As I watch my wife and many of her friends like her doing all of the things they do, I feel a pang of guilt. Am I working as hard? Do I put in the kind of work day, every day that moms at home work?

Um, er.

Exactly. There is NEVER an end to the amount of work that needs to be done when a woman does both. Laundry will ALWAYS seek to be folded. Dishes will ALWAYS dream of being put away. And kids will ALWAYS need rides to drum lessons.

Moms at home work this way every day. There are no Federal Holidays for them. And Dads who work, including myself, need to remember that every day. We need to be more understanding of the fact that these women are putting their hearts and souls into their work, not only because they have to but because they want to.

Being a mom and working at home, to me, is a prelude to sainthood. It is by far the job you will find least on Monster.com for very good reasons. Mental note to myself: this Mother's Day, go all out.

Freelance - Work From Home For Additional Income 101

A freelance worker is an independent person who uses their skills and talents in order to make money online. Freelance home based businesses are quickly rising as one of the most popular types of home based businesses.

So what is freelance work one of the most popular options for home based workers? There are actually several reasons. Perhaps one of the best pros to working online as a freelance worker is the fact that home based freelance workers control the amount of time they work, and in turn, control the amount of money they make. Because of this, freelance work is ideal for anyone looking to stay at home and work, such as stay at home moms, people in rural areas, and people who, for one reason or another, are just unable to work in a traditional business setting.

Advertising your services as a freelance worker is easy, with websites such as RentACoder.com, which allows you to post a resume, and then bid on various projects. The person who posted the project then reviews all the bids that they receive and choose one. If your bid is chosen, you then complete the project within the deadline specified, and get a check at the end of the pay period. Numerous other freelance auction sites are available as well.

However, freelance working is not like a lot of home based businesses that promote the idea of making money without any special skill or training. Freelance workers require the skills to complete the tasks at hand. Freelance writers must possess good spelling and grammar skills, along with a sense of creativity. Web Designers must be able to either work with design programs efficiently, or be able to create websites by hand.

So, you are interested in becoming a freelance worker, but you know that you do not possess the skills to do so. The good news is, learning the needed skills required to be a successful freelance home based worker is not as hard as you think. It simply takes time and patience. Once you learn the skills, you will reap the benefits.

Internet Marketing - A Good Home Working Business?

During this current financial meltdown, you may have thought about other ways to make an income. In fact, there are so many ideas out there, some are scams, some are perfectly legal and legitimate ways to make another income. Ultimately, you need to research and think about the best ways to make a home working business work for you and which ones are the best for your work ethic and personality.

One of the best home working opportunities is using the internet. I've head some people refer to it as "netpreneur". The biggest trap is that the net is full of other people doing exactly the same thing as you. However, if you can find your niche, something you like, enjoying doing and know a lot about, there isn't any reason why you can't compete and be successful by using search engines to make you another income.

Internet marketing is not a get rich quick scheme. It has taken me months to develop my websites and target 'traffic' by using keywords that visitors use to make my websites accessible to the world. I have learnt, trained and developed over 12 months and I am only starting to reap the rewards of my efforts.

There is no doubt that if done correctly, and by duplicating, I can make an extra $5,000 - $10,000 per month. However, to ensure that I keep this amount or increase this amount, I still have to work every evening and weekend on my computer. Not everyone is interested in a home working business, however for those who are, the internet really is the place to deliver it. The low start up costs, small regular investments, not to forget the global consumer; my websites are my home working business and they will continue generate me my second income.

If you're seriously interested in starting a home working business then I would do it now, whilst you can, whilst you're eager. If you're will to put in the work now, imagine the rewards you can earn later.

Is a Home Working Business Worth It?

It seems everyday now when I look on the internet there is yet another home working opportunity that is promising me riches. With the growth of the internet, everyday people like you and me are using it to their advantage and are learning how it can be used wisely rather than just a way to spend time. As long as you have access to a computer and an internet connection - you can even use ones on the high street - you can join the ever growing list of people throughout the world, including myself, who uses the internet to surf and make money online. By using the internet, I have joined the.com revolution, using it to create myself a secondary income. And why not?

Most people when they start out with their own business on the internet aren't quite sure what is going to happen. Sure, you need persistence to keep going, but the one thing that separates us is the desire to earn another income whether for personal reasons or out of accident.

Having your business online whether it is with eBay or as an affiliate marketeer gives me the option to do something that I enjoy and to get paid for it. The other side of the coin is that during the day I have to do something else which isn't internet based and is something that I have to do in the meantime.

With any type of business, be it online or not, you have to accept that you need to work at it to make it work. My online business did nothing for me for the first 12 months whilst it was online, and it is only now starting to reap the benefits. I am starting to see money go into my account regularly and it has helped me buy the things that I have wanted. With the current economic turn down, it seems that I and others have to think of other ideas to make a secondary living.

With the ever growing rate of the internet and the amount of people who are able to get online daily, it seems that running a home working business through the internet is quite simply one of the best things around. The costs to me are minimal, apart from the time I spend, and I have at least the current added security that as it is not my primary source of income, I can still get up and go to work tomorrow, or for the time being.

If you are interested in working for yourself online to create another income, then I would seriously recommend it. If you have the passion and willingness to succeed, the you should use the internet and the vast amount of home working opportunities to your advantage.

Home Work - Internet Business

The internet is the best friend ever to those eager to start a home work internet  business. But even the internet cannot protect business entrepreneurs from themselves. That means that being excited about the business must not blind you to the realities of the work involved.

Successful entrepreneurs realize the importance of making the best use of their time. Unlike the 9 to 5 job, home businesses may, and sometimes, must run at any time of the day or night. This means that you must love what you are doing.

If you love what you do, you will not mind the numerous tasks at hand. If possible, turning your hobby into a company is the ideal business plan. If that's not possible, choose something that you enjoy.

Hopefully, what you enjoy interests many others, because, the more people that are interested in what you have to offer, the more successful your business will be.

Choose a home work internet business that is of service to others. Solving the problems, needs, or desires of others is one way to ensure success.  However, it is not always necessary to reinvent the wheel. Sometimes, taking an existing service and improving it will be the best plan for getting started online.

A few suggestions: Online internet marketing, online radio, online boutique, online bakery, online catering businesses.

Finally, make sure that your company has a name that clearly projects your product or service. Also, make sure that your company name is trademarked and is properly and legally licensed.
